Keynote Session - From Bugs to Breakthroughs: A Journey from Software Testing to Sustainable Development

Topic – From Bugs to Breakthroughs: A Journey from Software Testing to Sustainable Development

In the world of software testing, I hunted for bugs, optimized performance, and ensured systems ran seamlessly. In sustainable development, I now navigate systemic inefficiencies, measure impact, and strive for a resilient future. The shift in industries was drastic, but the challenges remained strikingly similar—balancing constraints, managing uncertainties, and pushing for meaningful change. In this talk, I’ll share how my experiences in software testing shaped my approach to sustainability, the unexpected parallels between the two fields, and why problem-solving remains at the heart of it all. Whether in code or carbon footprints, the quest for better systems never ends.
